The Technical Sales Manager works in an agile organization and reports to the Head of New Business at T-Systems Road User Services GmbH. He will work as part of a broader New Business tribe that will help win new customers and support growth within the organization. In partnership with other operational tribes, this role’s main goal is to drive value in providing guidance in development of new modules and markets in electronic tolling. This role also closely partners with the Business Owners and Leaders of other operational tribes within the organization in ensuring new development bottlenecks do not become a barrier to sales conversions.
- Maintain key influential identified Toll Chargers and tolling companies in targeted geographies and develop our business with them
- Target Toll Charger and tolling companies within region to identify growth opportunities and partner appropriately with internal stakeholders to gain their business
- Assist New Business tribe in gaining additional volume growth year over year
- Executes segmentation to evaluate and assess the market & lead all aspects of the customer sales process, while leveraging other resources to assist in solution development or implementation as necessary
- Willingness and ability to cultivate relationships, grow networks, nurture leads, and passion to identify targets
- Be the subject matter expert in all technical practices of our product offerings and translate Client´s requirements into solution architecture
- Solution design according to customer requirements and co-ordination of the solution development across all involved tribes and, if necessary, third-party supplier
- Leading/controlling the solution team during the entire deal phase
- Participation in offer/bid preparation
- Manages and holds themselves accountable to a priority based schedule with prospective customers
- Identify and attend key activities within assigned territory
Your Profile
- 3+ years of sales experience in a high touch sales environment and Bachelors’ Degree required
- Experience selling cloud, agile-based, remote technology delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of organization, discipline, and self-structure
- Strong sales mentality and understanding of sales process
- Ability to effectively build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Ability to influence key stakeholders to become advocates for T-Systems Road User Services
- Travel 20-30%
- Fluent English language skills; good German knowledge would be desirable
- Ability to work in a team
- Capable of analyzing and interpreting data to drive decision making in their market
- Able to host, lead and present in front of large audiences
- Passion for their company and personal success to meet or exceed goals
