At UnternehmerTUM, visions turn into value. Our teams empower innovation enthusiasts to take entrepreneurial action. Together with start-ups and established companies, we drive tech ventures forward - from first idea to market leadership. In collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, we’ve been promoting future-forward start-ups such as Celonis, Konux, Lilium, inveox and Isar Aerospace since 2002.
XPRENEURS is the incubator for high-tech start-ups by UnternehmerTUM. In the 3-month full-time program we support strong, early-stage teams on their way to market entry by helping them validate their business model, win their first customers, and secure their first investment. As the Working student - Startup Incubation, your main responsibility will be to help the XPRENEURS team with the practical arrangements, the management of the program platform, event management and the community management of the three-month incubator program and various other accelerator programs for initiatives like EIT Food and EIT Urban Mobility.

Your mission
- Organizing exciting start-up events
- Specific event related arrangements, such as booking meetings with people and reserving spaces or setting up and hosting online events
- Start-up scouting / outreach and screening pitch decks
- Helping the start-ups with arrangements related to their participation in the program, such as meetings, participation in the workshops and other practicalities
- Program management via Accelerator App
- Documenting the events (taking photos / screenshots, videos, etc.) and maintaining an active and positive social media presence
- Supporting to improve the quality of our Salesforce and MailChip data
Your profile
- Previous experience of helping to arrange events or another role in the start-up ecosystem with other people in a paid job, in a student union or in a hobby organization
- We are not looking for any specific study background. However, it could be a bonus, if your studies are related to entrepreneurship or innovation
- We are looking for someone skillful at engaging people to get the job done, creative at solving problems and able/willing to learn to use our digital tools (GSuite, Zoom, Miro, AcceleratorApp, Mailchimp, Salesforce)
- Fluent written and spoken English and German
- The ideal candidate is a curious mind, who is eager to develop and take on new challenges. We appreciate ambition and willingness to learn over having all the answers or skills ready when you start. You are also a team player with strong collaboration skills who wants to drive positive impact in the world
