Lending & Mortgages & Lending -Collection and RecoveriesYour RoleWe are currently looking for a Functional/Business Analyst in Financial Services for our office in Frankfurt. As a Functional/Business Analyst within Technology Financial Services, you work within a cross-functional project team at top German and multinational companies. You take over delivery and team responsibility in various transformation projects in banks and financial institutions. Your role would involve understanding current operations of Banking & Financial Services in Germany and identifying key areas of automation and improvements leveraging IT driven solutions.Your ResponsibilitiesWithin your team, you structure and define specific solutions and participate in the implementation of information systems of financial institutions. Together with the client you would define business requirements and envision what s coming and progress of what s ahead. You assist the client by organizing workshops, and you support them in adapting the internal organization to new requirements and standards. Moreover, you translate the requirements into detailed functional designs drawing your perspectives combined with your technology, process and strategy skills. You also participate in transitioning the requirements to the developers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements. Finally, you coordinate and supervise activities between different stakeholders (internal or external).Your Qualifications University degree in Information Technology, or a business/finance related study with a strong IT affinity; Minimum 5 years of experience in either insurance, banking or capital markets; Functional knowledge on Lending domain is an essential with dep understanding of Loan/Mortgage lifecycle (Loan Origination, Disbursements, Securitization, Account Opening, KYC, AML, Basel III, KWG, GwG, SAG) and Lending -Collection and Recoveries. Sound banking and/or finance process understanding and demonstrated process and re-engineering ability; Affinity with IT, ideally knowledge of e.g. Java, XML, SQL, Mainframe (Cobol), OpenShift; Excellent proficiency in English and German is mandatory, additional languages are an asset; Your profile Strong analytical skills and structure problem solving; Team player; Commercial spirit; Result oriented; Ability to deliver high quality work on time; German Language is mandatory (1.) To participate and facilitate the walkthrough to brief the Functional Specification mapping to Business Requirements. (2.) To prepare the functional specification document and ensure for completeness and storage. (3.) Suggest design solutions (4.) To prepare and or or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements (5.) To understand the business requirements and map it to functional specifications.
