For our development department of the Magnetics Business Group, we are looking for a developer (m/f/d) for chokes who is passionate about the development of inductive components.
Development Engineer for Chokes (m/f/d)
What you can expect
- Development of inductive components (chokes) for power electronic applications and EMC
- Development of requirement profiles for inductive components in the automotive and industrial sectors
- Development and optimization of electrical and mechanical characteristics of inductive components
- Close cooperation with customers worldwide to understand and implement their individual requirements
- Implementation of methodical project and quality management with assessment of the risk profile, reliability and service life
- Preparation of specifications and production documents
- Support for the introduction of the products in the production sites worldwide
- Collaboration with teams working on applications in the field of renewable energies, energy efficiency, electric charging and e-mobility, among others
What you bring to the table
- Completed studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, physical engineering or a similar subject
- Ideally basic knowledge in mechanics and/or construction
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and/or power electronics would be an advantage
- Understanding of mechanic construction is desireable
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment
- Fluency in English
