Our logistics team takes care of developing partnerships with these partners and manages the daily operations of our logistics network. Together with your team, you are responsible for maintaining and developing this carrier portfolio in your region. You and your team coordinate the collaboration with our partners and work together with our transportation department on day-to-day operations.
The essence of your role
- Manage the performance and the service of last-mile service providers in Austria, our largest market area.
- Take ownership for last – mile related tasks during the implementation process of our Carrier - Customer onboarding
- Monitor the performance of our carrier partners to maintain operational excellence and support them in their daily operational business.
- Keep an eye on the market, identify innovations, and know which carriers work best for our customers
- Contribute to optimizing our processes and products with your market knowledge and expertise.
- Serve as the bridge connecting essential internal stakeholders such as the Implementation Team, Customer Operations and Freight Forwarding.
This is what you need to succeed
- You hold a University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
- You have ideally a professional experience in international (parcel) logistics and/or directly interacted with last-mile carriers.
- Providing „hands-on“ mentality especially during peak times to reach a common goal
- You have strong negotiation skills and confident communication, proven in an international work environment.
- You are fluent in German and English.
